Ok my car started runnin funny like 2 nights ago... it wont idle very good at all... like when i start it it acts like it wants to die but never does... it just idles real rough... i mean it sounds pretty cool through my flowmasters like i have a cam job or something but im pretty sure this isnt good... i was thinkin that its actin like the engine isnt gettin enough fuel at low rpms because once i get above like 1500 its fine... still plenty of power on the highway and even in town as long as i keep the rpms up... seems like a fuel issue but im stuck on what the problem could be... i changed the filter thinkin maybe it was clogged but that didnt help... i just got back from like a 45 mile drive and during that the ses light came on and im fixin to go get it checked to see... if anyone has any kind of info or ideas just let me know... other then that i'll post the code that the computer threw when i get back from the place... thanks in advance...

also didnt know if bad gas might cause this situation? i recently filled up and thats about when it started... but i thought that that would affect the higher rpms as well as the low ones... thanks again...disclaimer: \"warning.. this post may contain somewhat of a funny comment if read properly... take my comment out of context at your own discretion...\"

dude that might not be it, you may have a bad spark plug wire. if it happens again check your sparks and wires.Teh Cars:<br />2002 Firebird V6<br />1997 Camaro SS 30th <br />1991 Firebird V6<br />1989 Firebird Formula<br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/855002\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/855002</a>

hmmm.... i thought it was bad gas and im sure that was part of the problem cause it ran a lot better after i changed gas... but the code it threw was for an o2 sensor... it still runs pretty good it just doesnt idle very well... would an o2 sensor cause this situation as well? im fixin to check my plug wires but wouldnt it throw a code for the plug situation? not sure but yeah thats whats goin on now...disclaimer: \"warning.. this post may contain somewhat of a funny comment if read properly... take my comment out of context at your own discretion...\"

the 02 will not make your car idle rough just make your computer go into base permamiters. Pull a plug and check her out, check your wires ect. Then go from there.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

ok the ses light isnt blinking but just on all the time... the code it threw was PO130 and PO131... lookin in my book PO130 is for a heated oxygen sensor on bank 1... PO131 is low voltage on the preconverter sensor, left bank... what exactly does this mean... its just now cooling off outside so im fixin to go check the plugs and wires... thanks for the help... and camarorob, whats it mean that the computer goes into base permamiters..?disclaimer: \"warning.. this post may contain somewhat of a funny comment if read properly... take my comment out of context at your own discretion...\"

Your computer has a base setting when yoru computer gets really messed up readings that it can't compensate for or somthing is broke, so it goes into this base setting. THis is a very safe setting which means it really over compesates, thats part of the reason your gas mileage drops so much when your O2 dies. It just tries to make sure you don't blow anything up i guess you could say lol
Sounds like you just need some 02ness bo biggie.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....
