  • Driver's seat sagging

My driver's seat is sagging right in the butt area. I looked underneath and the foam is starting to crack/split where the metal wires support it. Has anbybody else had this problem? Any ideas for a fix, maybe putting something between the foam and the wires?

      ^^^^ good one

On one of my other cars I took the seat out, and slipped some foam rubber sheets between the seat cover and the original foam. You can get sheets of foam rubber at model airplane shops. It's usually between 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, dense foam, white colored. A couple sheets of that worked wonders, it made the seat feel like new.
