Just purchased another CamaroV6. '99' this time, with only 26K on the odometer. (Cheked CARFAX; no red flags/clean car). One minor problem; the 'Change Oil' light comes on, and I changed the oil the first day I got it! Someone told me the computer needs to be reset. How do I do that? Someone else recommended I disconect then reconnect the battery. That would reset the computer naturally. What the best solution?
Will post some pics later today!
Turn the car on ACC and push the gas pedal to the floor for I think 3 seconds. It's either that or push it to the floor 3 times. Just be sure it's on ACC and it's one of those two. My dad's friend reset it once for me and he works at a Chevy dealership.

Put the key in the ignition. Turn the key til everything lights up without starting it. Push in the trip/odometer button and hold for 12 sec. or until the light extinguishes. It also explains it in the owners manual. Hope this helps.
Thanks guys!
Walked out to my car and pushed the odometer button for twelve seconds. Light turnes off and i guess reset everything. Again, thanx all and until next time! ;)
