yeah mine just leaked out of the lines i didnt take off the gas cap or the shrader valve. id say prolly a half cup or so just leaked out of the lines.i wouldnt go to the trouble of depressurizing the system, just let the car sit awhile before you do it.

As for you PCV valve gasket... the part store didn't have any idea what I was talking about also, so I used high temp silicone sealant. Works like a charm. As for you fuel filter... I didn't release the pressure or anything, just unscrewed it and alil bit of gas trickled out, but not much... just have a rag ready and you'll be fine.\'97 Camaro 3.8L
