  • how much oil?

    im stupid and my dad, yes im not 18, wont give me the damn manual for my car so i need to know how much oil to put in im geussing 4 quarts but i have to change it and the last person who owned it put too much, i,as in dad, just bought the car
    if i was a pirate noone would have a car

      are you serious man now i have to drive like 30 miles to get another quart i was just wondering but i think i remember 4 but o well i dont excatly have experince with these cars

        well, it's 4.5 quarts for the 3.8L, so you better get to driving.

          just fill it with 4, let it sit then check it til its full.

              My manual says 4.5 quarts for my 3.8L. And whenever I check the dipstick its full.

                4.5 quarts is correct....I've never seen anything that says 5 quarts.

                      well i left my wallet at home when i went to work eailer so ill buy that extra quart today throw it in at 4.5 check the oil if needs more ill throw the rest in but im sure as hell not pourin it

                        Its 4.5 Qts with the PF47 or 5 Qts with the PF52.

                          According to Autozone's website, it's 4.5 quarts with filter.

                            my manual says 4.5 but at my old job, we always put in 5 in the 3.8L of firebirds and camaros and it came out perfectly, everytime, every single time.

                              /shrug 4.5 shows good level for me on dipstick. No sense adding another .5 quarts.

                              Edit: not trying to start a fight with you BLLDOGG. It's not a big deal, I'm no technician. I just read my manual and it came out fine for me.
