I get about 210 at the hottest, but I usually turn my man fan switch on after that. Driving I'm at about 175. I had my stock thermostat replaced, I have no clue if it is a 160 or what, but all I know is that my car runs pretty cool.

Does seem it is running a little hot especially while sitting. While it is sitting and the temp goes up, check to see if the radiator fan(s) come on. If the fan(s) does not come on then that is most likely your problem.

With fans on while on the expressway: Water - 160 degrees, oil = 220 degrees (in hot weather).

With fans on in city streets: Water - 160 degrees, oil - 270 degrees.

In cooler weather, the oil stays pretty much at about 180 degrees which is where the car feels like it performs the best.

mine runs about 140 on a hot day guess thats prolly cause i got the 5.7L V8 IN MY TRUCK, mine runs so much cooler cause i installed a 160 thermo and if you ever look in a 94 engine bay ull see there is absolutley nothing in it so it has LOTS of room for air flow, too bad camaros are so jammed in there, but stock thermo is 195 so ur good all the way to 210
