  • is there a bulb in the cig. thing?

you know, the little box thing you put the ashes??

Is there a little light in there?

And is it lit all of the time, or only when you open the thing??

Yes, there is a light in there. I think it goes on when the headlights are switched on. If you have DRL's, then I have no idea when it's switched on.

There is a light, and I think it should only be on when the lights are on. Not 100% sure, though.

Must be a camaro thing. I took my whole console out yesterday, actually its sitting right here in front of me along with the cigarette lighter. The only light I had down there was the one for gear display.
You guys and your fancy ash try lights...

That little box thing is called an ash tray. It can be hard to keep track of the names of these modern gizmos.
