  • What is a good 12v source for A/F Guage

where is a good 12 v source that i can put a fuse on becaus ei am installing my autometer guages. BTW i have a 3.4. I am considering the reardefroster power wire because it is close. does anyone know which color is power, the orange, purple, or tan. any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

I ran mine into the fuse panel and put the wire in the fuse panel... anything that is run off the ignition rather than a constant 12V source... dont tap into wires, just get some small 20g wire and pull the fuse out put hte wire down in there and then just push the fuse back in.... simple and fused...

I used the acc on side of the radio, has been that way since 1.5 years and no problem, and yes pull the fuse and push the wire in and reinstall fuse.
know when to go wot, and when to just enjoy the ride

Accessory. It's the power to the radio that's only on when the car is on. I used that for my wideband controller.
