I have had a ticking noise and some general bad idle. When i would give gas then let off it would gurgle and kinda stumble. The exhaust also had a different tone to it.
This has been happening for a few weeks now and today i fixed it. I was cleaning the engine bay when i tapped the black thing i think is the egr valve (i believe thats what it is a few inches from the thermostat with a couple fuel lines to it) and it rocked. The bolt had come loose so i tightened that up. I washed my car and when i started it up i saw a small bit of light colored smoke (didnt have a smell) and the car ran like a champ. The exhaust was louder and sounded great like when i got it a few weeks ago.
No more glugging when letting off the throttle and i couldnt hear the ticking. I guess i had a vacuum leak or something but it seems to be fixed. I think the poof was water or something.
