im pretty sure this has been posted but it would take to long to search, how much would you expect to pay a mechanic to change all the plugs and wires, one of my plugs went bad it took me like a month to fix it due to lack of tools etc. etc. and i tore one of my wires ended up only changeig 2 plugs out of the six i bought and the wire i tore i relaced it with a wire out of a junked f150 and its kinda just in there no heat shileds works great though

okay, so yeah since people are acting all childish...
depending on the year/engine you have, you can expect anywhere from 1 to maybe even 3 hours of later. with the 3.8 + tubular manifolds, i was able to do plugs/wires in 20 minutes. However with the log manifolds, it took me an hour to get 1 bank done..2011 Camaro LS 6M, in black.

Ive heard where they will ask for well over $100 for the plugs on your car. Its not really a hard job, it just takes forever to get maneuvered around and find the right angle to get at them.... at least with the log manifolds. If you have any plans of headers in the future, I would wait until you do them and get the plugs at that point because it is a major PITA.
If your looking to save some money, you can do them yourself, but it will take you most of a morning more than likely. If you have swivel sockets, extensions and a stubby wratchet it it will help to get in some of those awkward spaces.... and a jackstand so you will have plenty of room crawling around under your car getting at some of them.\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra<br />-former F-body owner
