  • Rear end problem?

    Hi all,

This is my first post. I viewed my Firebird for the first time from the rear while a friend accelerated
as if in a drag race. I noticed that the right rear
dipped a lot and the left rear not much.

Is that right rear dipping normal? My v6 has the lsd w/3:42 gears. I was also wondering if anybody
knows at what mileage should the tranny and diff.
fluids be changed. One more question. Will a ses light come on for the drive train fluid
Thanks. BTW, Great job on the web site.
    Thumbs Up

yes that is normal. The turning of the engine and drive shaft cause the right side to drop more then the left. Correcting this is a big thing in the pro drag world were cars with lots of HP need it but not so for street cars like ours. So, yes it normal and you should just leave it the way it is. It can be fixed but its not worth the money and it won't make your car any faster.
