  • 3.8 fuel pressure reg.

had hard starting under all cond. I have only 31k on my '98 camaro. I was told by a local pont. dealers serv. dept. that fuel press. regs on 3.8 are notorious for crapping out early.I'm in auto mech. classes in IVY tech so I took a educated guess on the fuel pump, by our class work & shop experience. But, the advice I go from the dealer serv. dePT was right.I changed the f.p. reg. & the car runs like new!!!! I saw a few posts on the same problem so I hope this info will help. Its a pain to change because r&r of the fuel rail is necessary, but its far less of a pain than the r&r of the fuel pump.
