This is not a question about a f-body, but i have no where else to turn. I bought a '97 Escort for the winter a couple of months ago, and now the fan is dead. I have heat, but can't speed up the fan. My bosses brother got me one for 50 bucks and i just installed it. its not a hard swap at all(4 8mm bolts and unplug one wire). I put it in and the same problem. when i took the old one out i noticed that there was ice on the motor itself as well as on the plug. my guess is that all the wireing is shorted, or that because the fan is out of a '98 escort/contour, it is just being a pita. any help would be greatly appreciated.
