This is a general tech question, it shouldn't be in advanced tech. The Hypertech does not work that great. It will reprogram your speedo for gear changes and tire size/rim size changes and thats pretty much it. It is not worth the $300 IMO.

Oh, and it will also remove your speed limiter, not that anyone needs to be going over 118 or even that fast anyway.

Enh, I hear it's trash, I wouldn't but it. Much much much better ways to spend $300. And it's not advanced tech, try searching about computer programmers. Not my gig, i'll stick with real mods.

I recommend rethinking that get rid of rev limiter idea. Its a good thing to have and can save your engine. Knock it up a little if you want but don't get rid of it.

i wasn't planning on getting RID of my rev limiter just my speed limiter. but my rev limiter will be pushed up a bit ;) . And Jason i saw that post and that made my decision. now i hope it works that well for mine. ;)

I love the results my Hypertech PP gave me. I do have an automatic, so I like the firmer shifts. Running 93 Octane all the time now, so I used the 93 Power tuning program. I think combined with my Whisper lid and K+N filter it complements everything and makes a noticable change.

                  Just my two cents.
