Okay, i've had a surging idle issue for awhile but now it's causing some serious vibrations. I've had the exhaust checked out and there's nothign loose down there.
It sounds almost like the brake pads are slipping. I say it sounds like that because it happens whether the brakes are engaged or not.
Worse when in gear, but happens in Neutral as well. Worse when A/C is on, or defrost.
Only noticeable when i'm stopped or going slow(ie parking)...when i give it gas, vibrating seems to stop.
Weird thing... when i was at a light yesterday the engine was about 200degrees, and vibrating good. I flipped the high speed fan on and when the engine started to cool, the vibrations got less until it was down at 180 and hardly vibrating at all.
Any ideaS? Sorry for the long post
