Ok so basically i burnt my starter up. Basically this happend from a coolant spill when i was changing my coolant and got everything wet. im guessing i got the starter wet and wasnt doing anything when i was trying to start the car. its tarted tro make a bad smell though. i dried everything off real good again and let it sit then it would start again just with some whining sound. now it doesnt like to start very often so im going to replace the starter.
ok i was looking on gmparts direct and im confused of what i need to buy.

A coolant spill won't burn your starter out. Your starter gets wet everytime you drive in the rain...right?
What do you mean when you say "it's making a whining sound?" Is it the starter making the sound, or is it after the engine is running?
If your problem goes away after replacing the starter, then do worry about getting water/coolant on it. Just don't submerge it a large puddle or anything, and you should be okay. ;)
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
