It's coming from the driver's side of the car. It sounds like a rock got shot up from the tire into the wheel well. That's what I thought it was when I first heard it. It started like a week ago and has done it about 5 times since. It has done it on turns and on straight aways and it seems to only do it when the ground is kind of bumpy. I have no clue what it could be. Any ideas?

I forgot. It doesn't sound like it's coming from the engine or the exhaust.2001 3.8L Firebird M5
Flowmaster 80 series,exhaust cutout,catco hi-flow cat,tbyrne WRA,whisper lid,K&N filter,BMR LCA\'s,Ram air H.O. hood,3.73 gears with LSD 17\" by 9 1/2\" TT2\'s
Rockford 300s with 2 12\" JL audio W3v2 subs and JVC HU

Ever thought about the fact that your 17x9.5 wheels probably fit pretty snug into the wheel well? It's probably your tire hitting/rubbing the inner wheel well. Not sure what else it could be.~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

I've only heard it in the last week though. I've had the wheels for about 3 months. So I don't know why I would just start hearing it now.2001 3.8L Firebird M5
Flowmaster 80 series,exhaust cutout,catco hi-flow cat,tbyrne WRA,whisper lid,K&N filter,BMR LCA\'s,Ram air H.O. hood,3.73 gears with LSD 17\" by 9 1/2\" TT2\'s
Rockford 300s with 2 12\" JL audio W3v2 subs and JVC HU

Do you hear it when you push the brakes or give it gas? If you do that could be a rock. My old 94 must have had a rock stuck somewhere, everytime I hit the brakes, I could hear it rattling around towards the front, then when hitting the gas, I'd hear it rattling to the back.2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6

If it's not the engine or exhaust....It's possible it could be the subframe mount popping in place. With a newer car, it's doubtful but anything is possible. Could also be something with your suspension. Maybe you have something stuck in one of your struts.Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD....you wanna hit it, but you\'re affraid of the consequences...

http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=244935

I've been trying to see if there is anything stuck anywhere but I can't figure out anything. I have no idea what that noise is. It doesn't do it too often but when it does it's loud as hell. It doesn't sound good at all.2001 3.8L Firebird M5
Flowmaster 80 series,exhaust cutout,catco hi-flow cat,tbyrne WRA,whisper lid,K&N filter,BMR LCA\'s,Ram air H.O. hood,3.73 gears with LSD 17\" by 9 1/2\" TT2\'s
Rockford 300s with 2 12\" JL audio W3v2 subs and JVC HU
