P121 and P122 codes

    P121 and P122 codes

    The p121 has something to do with throttle performance or something and the p122 is low voltage in the throttle positioning sensor.

    i cleared the codes and there hasnt been anything since, but im unsure about exactly how to check them both.

    and NO i will not just buy new ones to see IF they are the problem, its a waste of money.

    ...sounds like you need a new TP sensor

      Here's the full diagnostic info for P0121 and P0122 (IE only). Both are problems with the TPS. It could be a couple things, but my bet would be on a bad TPS.

      DTC P0121 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Performance
      DTC P0122 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
      Matt
