  • Where to buy t top weatherstripping???

I am sick and tired of my t tops leaking (we had like 2.5 inches of rain come by 2 times this week) and my car is leaking bad on one side. I put a towel on the seat which i folded like 4 times.

Any places on the net where I can buy weatherstripping??? Only my passenger side is leaking but would it be smart to replace both of them?

Anyways thanks for the help because i cant find any place to buy from.

Befor you go buying another set of seals, you may want to check the silicone seal on the bottom of your t-tops where they seal on the frame of the roof. Sometimes the rubber gets pulled up, breaks the silicone seal, and causes a leak...sometimes.

Where exactly is it leaking from?

As a temporary solution for next time it rains, place a large trashbag over the t-tops and weigh it down with something so it doesn't blow away. Looks like crap, but it'll keep the interior dry until the leak is fixed.

        Where EXACTLY is it leaking...

If its where the t-top receivers are, pull the t-top weatherstripping up slap some black silicone sealant under it and put he weatherstripping down it will get rid of all your leaks.

Make sure the t-top is setting in the little groove of the t-top weatherstripping.

Also I think www.yearone.com makes replacement t-top weatherstrippings, I think its $180 for both or $180 a side if I remember right.

It leaks right where the t top meets the part closest to the windshield... it comes dripping right out of that crack. Do you know what I mean?

you can try blowing air through the tube and see where the water is going.

Also you may have to adjust your front t-top bracket. Sometimes they need adjusting, they generally have shims in them from the factory and you can pull a few out to give a tighter seal.
