  • Auto tranny leak

I did a search but could not find this issue. Have a '95 Camaro that is leaking fluid. It appears to be leaking from a round unit at the rear where a wire attaches, speedo? Is this common & how do I fix it?

    Thanks

Yup, that is it, but with a wire rather than a cable. What is it called? Trying to avoid sounding like an idiot at the parts store!

Th o-rings on the vehicle speed sensor do leak sometimes, what you want to do is unplug it and make sure that there is no trans fluid where it plugs in. If there is then you need a new sensor.

So, you loosen the screw, move the bracket and remove the round device?
