Its my guess that the small amount of friction in the fluid between the shafts and bearings causing it to pull just slightly. I wouldnt worry about it, seems strange I know but if you were to have the chance to spin the input shaft of both a manual and an automatic tranny without them isntlled inside a car and in neutral that both then input and the output shafts would spin if one or the other were to be spun.

Yeah, my car does it sometimes, sometimes it doesnt. I dont think theres anything wrong with it. Mine doesnt pull hard like its actually in gear or anything though... weird indeed....
