Performance package

How do you know if a car has the performace package?The Y87 package. The exhaust has been changed also.Is it in the numbers on the inside of the door?What should i look for?

Look for Y87 on the sticker thats on the drivers door

Yes this helps a TON on an auto car.
3.42 gears instead of 3.08s and a Limited slip differential for better traction.

I beleive a M5 still has 3.23s, but with the LSD.

My car is an auto i am looking dreound for a good shift kit not just the improver. Does anyone know of any good ones?

transgo shift kit is a great kit that many people have here. If you go that route make sure to get a vette servo at the same time for some nice firm shifts.
