I've looked at this option in the past and it would be great for running at the track during a cool down period between runs. You could wire it in line with an manual fan switch and probably get more consistant times.

It was an idea that I never investigated much though. I saw this but did not like the idea of running for long periods of time on a belt and motor of that size (thats a lot of trust). I was more enthused by the idea of going to a pure electric water pump that was built as a replacement.

My only question was, will the SB Chevy water pumps fit our applications?

the only prob i see is where to mount the thing...i can't find anyone with an L36 who has one of these...maybe i'll be the guinea pig :D
