  • Stupid SES light, need some help...

Ok, so my SES light came on the other day while I wasn't using my fan switch so I was like, "****, what now?" I scan the car and it comes up with 2 codes:

DTC P1651 Fan 1 Relay Control Circuit
DTC P0122 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

Obviously 1 is the fan switch, but the other deals with the TPS sensor. I cleared the code and it hasn't come back, but its only been a day. Should I just replace the TPS sensor or wait to see if it messes up again? I don't want this thing messing up my car. How much is a new one, where can I get it, and does anyone have a GM part number for one for a '98? Thanks

Could it be a quirk in the computer?

I don't know if this helps, but I got after SES changing the exhaust, and then a random one that scanned out as a traction control failure??.

I reset the computer both times and they never came back.
