When I start my car up on a raining day, and turn the the front air vents on to clear up the windshield, the front and side windows get so foggy it takes like 10 minutes for them to clear up.
Anyone have this problem and found a solution?

Make sure you use a good glass cleaner on the inside, that will help some. If you use armaral wipes or something to keep your dash shiney, iv heard that will cause windows to fog up more.
but yeah, just roll down your windows a little bit. not much you can do. :(

i had it bad when i first bought my car...dunno what the factory does to the inside of the windows...but i got a good quality cleaner & made sure it's clean. i haven't had any probs since.
i use the ZEP glass cleaner in the aerosol can available at homedepot
I don't have this problem? My windows are tinted. Think that could be it? My windows usually never fog up, and when they do, they de-fog within 30 seconds or so. The windshield is no big deal either. De-frosting on the outside, however, is another story.
EDIT: Wait a minute?

Air vents? Turn the knob to the last position on the dial, to the defog one. That always works

I never have that problem. I use the windshield defrost selection to clear the windshield. But IF I use the front vents, then the windshield and side windows fog up some. Then I either switch to AC or Defrost....

I only have that problem when I first start the car for about 5 minutes, other than that the windows never fog up, no matter how many people are in my car or how hard it is raining or how hot it is, for some reason my car never fogs up like the other sedans or imports.
I've tried rain-x, it does help to an extent. I had some anti-fog rain-x from my grandpa that I used once and it worked pretty dang on good, but I dont know where the old guy bought it at and can't find it again. Just make sure you clean your windows really good before applying rain-x; otherwise it traps that crap in there since it's a wax for your windshield and makes it really dirty and streaked. Rain-x is definately cool when you see if for the first time, looks awesome how the water just rolls off
