  • Nothing to do with Camaros but need Thermostat Help for Chevy Astro

    Hey everyone,
I'm sorry for posting this here since it's got nothing to do with Camaros but maybe someone could help me out. My dad has a '97 Chevy Astro and I'm trying to find a 180 degree thermostat for him. I called up Hypertech and the rep claims they don't make one for that model vehicle. Does anyone know where I could get one?

Thanks very much for the help.

    uhh, auto parts store...?
Why would you want to order one from hypertech? I'd rather go get a regular thermo from my local carshop.

The van is modded with an air intake and a Borla exhaust. I want a 180 degree thermostat so my dad can get like a hypertech reprogrammer.

Autozone makes a 170 degree and a 195 degree for that application.

            Check out the www.autozone.com website.

Autozone has a 160 degree thermo. It's all nice and stuff but I live up north and I'd like the heat to work.
