  • Can't take the boot off!!!

I've been trying to take the boot and wire off the plug to replace the plug and wire, since cylinder 5 is misfireing... well that ***** is not coming off! Is there a trick to it of some sort? I tried pulling the rubber and I also tried pulling metal insulator (or whatever the **** it is). It's just stuck there... do I have to twist it? Do I have to pull the rubber boot or metal insulator? Do I have to yank it as hard as I can or is there a trick to release it? Thanks a lot for any help.

If you are replacing it anyway just snap it. It's porcelain so it will snap easy. Just reach down and pry/snap/remove/replace

They make an insulated spark plug wire remover tool. It makes even the ones in tight places easier and allows you some leverage on the wire and you're likely to never break a wire with it. Check your parts store.
