I brought my car to the dealer (ext. warranty) and I found out that cylinder 1 and 4 had dead coils (covered...phew) but on cylinder 4 the plug is fouled and the wire is not conducting any electricity. I asked how much they wanted for that and it was like $7.50 for one plug and some more outlandish pricing for the rest of the 1 plug/1 wire change.
I'm thinking of putting on A/C Delco Rapidfires with whatever decent wires I can find locally...HOWEVER I CANNOT install myself so what should I expect to pay parts/labor for a place like pep boys or some other reputible repair place to do this job?
edit: Dealer IS NOT touching the plug/wire because I don't want to get ripped off for that. I'm doing this elsewhere...if you did not realize that was my intent to begin with.
