  • Need help guys!

My car is accelerating very sluggish right now. Under initial acceleration, it does ok, but as soon as I hit second gear, and give it a little more gas, it does this "rumbling" thing. At first the SES light didnt come on, but no it does and flashes every so often. At first it seemed like something as small as some bad gas(moisture,) but it just keeps getting worse. What the hell?!

Plugs / Wires, no doubt about it. You gotta replace them (all), and I'd advise doing it yourself. Really. Just do it. Take the afternoon (2-6 hours for all 6) and do it.

You're experiencing misfires. Get those nasty, burnt, and oiled plugs and wires out of there ... for replacements you should use whatever $28 set of (PRE-CUT) wires is at Pep Boys, and your call on Spark Plugs (I'm a Bosch single plat man myself)

no no no ...get factory plugs and wires... make sure they are the premium ones.. trust me on this one.. the ones i got from pepboys only lasted me a week, and had to replace them.. i got the acdelco ones from the factory.. best decision i made. my friend works at my dealership so i got the plugs and wires for about 70 bucks all together.. for a good reliable set, it'll be about 85 bucks.. well worth it in my opinion though

yes...like tyler said, get the factory set. When I had this problem, I bought those damn pep boy plug wires and I got the bosch platinum. They suck and they screwed up my coils over time and I had to end up getting it all replaced. I put in ACDelco plug wires and their premium plugs. It runs great.
