well i have most of your basic mods you can do and i put donw 178 and 212 torque i was jsut trying ot figure out how much i have done

at some point i had heard that you loose 21 percoent of your power in an automatic so running that number and going by the gm numbers of 200 hp and 225 tq origiannly most automatics would put down 158 hp and 178 tq if my numbers are right so if someone knows for sure please tell

Nah, the 4LE60 Tranny is more like 15% loss and the T5 is more around 12% Which would put the typical auto at 170 and the typical M5 at 176. Actual numbers are probably between 160-170 for Auto and 165-175 for the M5.

It would be more accurate for you to take *your* car to the dyno and get baseline numbers for *your* car and they can also give you an accurate measurement of your drivetrain loss. This will also give you a more accurate measurement of your mods during future dyno sessions.

Some engines produce more power than others even though they are the same type of engine. LS1's are notorious for the variance of horsepower within the same model year. Some folks are lucky enough to get those "Freak of Nature" engines.

The dyno can give you an accurate measurement of your drivetrain loss by running the car to top speed in 4th gear and just let it naturally decelerate. Keep in mind that this test is usually considered a "pull" so budget for it.
