weird smell

i just got done racing my bro with his new car, 98 TA , he kicked the **** out of me BTW.
and after we parked a weird smell came out of my car, mostly on the drivers side. I heard people say it smells like rotten eggs, but this smell is weird I dunno what it is, but it only does it after i drive the car hard, I checked for leaks but havent found any.
any idea what this weird smell could be?? bad pump or something??

I am not sure about the racing part, however the rotten egg smell is usually associated with a bad cat.....just my $0.02

yea, cat. redline your car in neutral. do you hear any ratteling from the cat itself, or in the exhaust? better yet, do any ceramic chunks blow out the tailpipes?

I get that smell all the time, it's the Cat, and no, my cat isn't bad either. I just put a HF cat in about 10k ago and it smells the same as the stock cat. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you hear stuff rattling inside your cat.

I think it's just the stuff inside the cat getting really hot because your pushing your engine hard.

well it does rattle just a little bit when i floor it, i am changing it for a new one, i am thinking about a CATCO to go with my exhaust. I hope its a good brand, any other recommendations for a cat"?
