Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I need a little help. My 96 Camaro M5 has been having problems since I got it about a year ago but It has developed a new problem. When i shift through the gears I hear a little "clink" of sorts, especially when the gears become engaged. Also, if shifts rough, like when i shift from first to second it feels and sounds rough, like a bid thud. Any and all help would be apreciated. Thanks.

how hard are you shifting??
does it go into gear easily? or will it somewhat grind before it gets in gear..
it could be a syncro96 Camaro M5. I have to shift pretty hard and it does grind a little when i am putting it into gear. After i shift and step on the gas i hear a "clink". I just sounds like metal tapped metal when engaging the gear.Comment
