Luckily I was in my development just gettin home already and my car was goin crazy. It was raining hard but no flooding. Im drivin down this hill... my speedo reads 55mph! WTF, I jam on the brakes and Im going like 5mph in reality but speedo is reading 45mph and its goin up and down. All crazy like in 2Fsat2Furious when the guy shoots Paul Walkers car with the electric gun and all electronics are ****ed up HAHA!!
So I pull over, shut down the car and then try to start it back up. RRRGH RRRGH RRGH RRRGH.... sounds like the alternator is done for. I wait, call around, my dad comes and jump starts me. It takes awhile but after 5 minutes I start my car up. Get it home and its under the recharge now.
I was just talkin to a friend and he said that same thing happened to his Celica and a week later his alternator was completely dead and he got stuck somwhere far away. So ya think this could of damged my alternator or anything.
My dad said maybe it was water from the rain storm shorted something. So we're still unsure.
