This weeked I transfered my friend's pocket bike from his house to my other friend's house for a little fun Sunday night. Well, on the way home, I got a little gas on the center part of my back seat, otherwise known as "the hump". Now my car has a stinking aroma of gasoline. I tried soap and water, 409, and some upholstery cleaner my dad had. Nothing seems to work. Today I tried some Febreeze, more soap and water, and something called Lestoil. The smell is still there, strong. I have to drive with my windows down, heat on so the smell doesn't get to the front. It doesn't help that its been raining out for god knows how long. Anyways, does anyone know any simple ways to get the gas outta the carpet and the smell outta my car?
