I have a faulty sensor in a '95 3.4 that shows low oil when I start the car - if I turn on the ignition; then turn it off then start the car, it does not stay on.

it may not be faulty. did you check your dipstick? the same thing happened to my 01 3.8. for some odd reason my low oil light came on so i turned off the car and restarded and it went away. after driving normally for a few days like that i checked my dipstick and it was good thing i did becasue i was REALLY low on oil. if your dipstick sez your ok then sorry i cant help.

The same thing happened to me a while ago. When I changed the oil I change the sensor as well. That did the trick. The sensor is like 30 buck and real easy to change.
