I was told by the dealer that i don't ever need to change my tranny fluid on my 2002 stick Camaro. I would have to assume that is because it is a closed circut system and it only needs to be replaced every time the clutch is, please correct me if my information is wrong.

What does your owners manual say?
There must be a fluid change interval for anything mechanical with gears and rotating assemblies.
Your dealer is just that, a dealer. Talk to your GM Service Dept guy and ask his opinion.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
