My car has been surging for a while. It also almost kills and then the rpm's shoot up when I start it after leaving it sit for about a half hour after driving it. Sometimes when I start it, I also get some smoke and a strong fuel smell. So, today I decided to check my fuel pressure. Everything is to specification except when left it sit, the pressure dropped down to about 29psi after a half hour or so. The regulator is fairly new so I'm pretty sure thats not it. Does this sound like a leaky injector?
