I have a 98' 3.8 Camaro and the car alarm has just started acting up this past week. If I use the keypad to lock it, it takes about 30 seconds and the alarm will go off. It beeps once and then it waits about 30 more seconds then it really goes off and does not finish going off until I unlock it with the keypad. The same goes if I hit the button to lock both doors on the inside of the car. Just to lock my car, I have to push the locks in on each door and that doesnt set the alarm to my knowledge.
This problem just started this past week and I havent messed with anything electrical or anything, so I have no idea what this problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is just a pain in my neck now.
