what is wheel hop and what would it feel like i was just wondering becuse me and my friends where doing donuts at this lot and my car felt like it was shaking

our cars experience wheel hop usually under a hard acceleration or rather brisk clutch release. it seems to happen in my car right when i give it just enough gas to break the tires loose, but not enough to really light them up. Wheel hop is the process by which your rear tires actually leave the ground due to the loading being applied to them. Wheel hop will shake the car and the shifter rather violently at times. This condition is exagerated by lowering your car as this adversely effects the rear lower control arm angles.
