  • cleaning the injectors

    is putting injectors cleaner in your tank the only way of cleaning them?? because if i remove an injector how can i get inside of it to clean it?? duh!! or does it mean buy new ones??

        wtf, it is what you asked for, a way to clean your injectors. and we already have our resident aholes, no room for more, so try not being a dick

                3.4ornothing ,why are you trying to make life hard 4 yourself!, get a bottle of STP injector cleaner , chuck it in with your gas, and be happy. if this does not work then replace the injectors, metaphoriclly speaking... you are trying to clip your toenails with garden shears .good luck

                    I got crazy with my injectors. i had them off to put a new fuel rail on, so I decided to clean them. i used aligator clips to connect the injectors to a 9V battery and I opened them. Then I shot carb cleaner into the open injector and blew compressed air through it.

                    I only pulsed them open for a few seconds at a time though. Injectors are nothing more than solenoids, they can overheat and melt the coil inside.
