  • Wet engine bay

I was driving through a storm and a whole bunch of hydroplaning occured. Heavy wind and rain. When I got home, it stopped raining so I opened the hood to check on some stuff and it was really wet. I dont know if the hood is leaking or something. I have pics.

Is the car running fine? No problems? An engine bay is not a water tight thing. Most of the engine should be fine if you get it alittle wet, you probably just hit a puddle just right and threw some water up there.

The car runs great, but it was just weird that the hood cloth thing was soaked.

The hood cloth this is basically a heat/fire shield of some sort....everything iunder the hood is designed to be wet....thats why the engine bay isnt sealed air tight ;)
