Ha, I ran her dry one night. It was an accident though. No really it was. I had enough to get home but a big rig fliped on I-10 so I decided to detour hwy 90 around. While I was waiting for someone to bring me some fuel, I looked(for fun)to see what I't had on it. 386mi with a little bit of city in there also.

Went to Florida this past weekend for Thanksgiving. Well, filled up before we got on the Interstate. At about 1/4 tank left, I had over 330 miles on the tripometer. That was runnin 70-85. It seemed like on the way back, I got a little worse gas mileage, however I was runnin anywhere from 80-115 and it was some stopping due to the traffic. Overall I was pretty impressed.

I never let the needle get below 1/4. with that said I get about 190-200 at that point. I get less milage now since I've modded my car so much and I set on it all the time. oh well :D

you say your mpgs suck so bad? how does the car run? rough at all? Maybe your car is running rich with it's fuel mixture. If your pcm is reading a lean condition from your ho2s sensors, it will turn you mixture rich to even out the lean condition. But if you do not have a lean condition, but your pcm is reading you exhaust as lean, it will be just dumping fuel to try to correct a condition that does not exist. There could be many different problems. Your pcm looks at many different sensors to determine how to adjust your fuel mixture. Scan it for codes and see what you find. Try to find someone who will let you use a gm tech2 or some diagnostics computer to watch your fuel trim. Then go from there

Hey we have the excact same car.
I get about 22MPG in the city at high altitude etc.
I romp on it like a MFer often. And use my AC all the time.
Not sure about your MPG... O2 sensors??

What the hell defines a tank? Why don't we post MPG by dividing our trip by the gallons used huh? Isnt that a WEE bit more accurate?

*Tank* is meaningless.

Highway I've gotten up to 380, I think... usually closer to 350 (highway to school and back) and lighter city driving around 250.

I usually put about 12.5 gallons in it.

Don't complain, I did it that way, the right way. And I'm between 19MPG and 21MPG depending on my driving moods.

I get down to where the needle points to the last line and get between 330-350 MPT. That's around 14.x gallons.

Roughly 24-25 MPG on average.
