anyone know if that silver can of Engine Restore is any good?
it says it increase compression, and seals o-rings, etc etc...
it says if your car is over 40k miles, you will feel a difference, but I havent
I need to do an oil analysis
2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!
yeah, oil additives scare me a little, but there is some lucas additive that i am tempted to try, there should be a little gear display of it at your local napa
BOB is the oil guy told me not to use lucas because it oxidizes your oil.
Oxidizing = heat especially for gears
I dont trust fuel cleaners either
I dont trust some octane boosters (some dont raise your octane level)

just seen a commercial for the engine restore stuff last night. I personally don't have any experience with it, but I am skeptical. Anyone have a crappy winter beater or something to try it on and let us know? lol.
oils passed by the American Petroleum Institute and SAE(i forgot that one) already have detergents to help clean your engine and addatives in em. u should be alright as long as you keep up with schedualed maintainence. i dont think you need to add ne thing but it woudn't hurt.
i have never used Engine Restore so i duno if its ne good either
unlike most people here, ive had first hand experience with restore, i had a 91 dodge shadow that i got for fifty bucks that i beat the SH** out of, (jumping and such), and i got a real bad valve tap (at least thats what it sounded like), and i wanted to sell it, but the valve tap was horrible, i put restore in it, and the valve tap got much much quieter, almost barely noticeable, sounded like just ur average valve tap, (if youve ever driven a shadow, you know they practically came from the factory with a valve tap), and i ended up selling it for 400 bucks...so, i think restore was well worth what i paid for it. just my two cents. later.
your asking for trubble if you if put that crap in your engine.

No one has reported any problems after using Engine Restorer, as I've searched, only results, or nothing at all. I just put some in today after I changed my oil. I won't make a regular thing out of it unless I'm convinced that it did anything spectacular, which I am not.
