ok i have a 1994 firebird 3.4 im restoring. it runs and drives good i just have to finish the bodywork and paint and interior but next year i want to ad a bigger motor i heard puttign a ls1 or lt1 is very expensive so i decided to stay with a 6 im wondering if a 3.8 with a charger on it from a gtp or ssei will work? i can get these motors farely easy from the junk yard in running cond. would this be my best bet? and will my current tranny work with it?

Re: engine swap questions?
I "think" the block will bolt up, the blower will not. and you'll need exhaust manifolds among other things.

Re: engine swap questions?
block will bolt up, yo might want to reuse your f-bod intake on the L67, sell a couple of the m90's and put in a turbo kit. And take it easy off the line w/the tranny, or get it built up to higher specs.
