I doubt he has and is still waiting for his old battery to go out. Maybe the wire that runs to the fuses from the alt. needs to be upraded to a bigger size.

What really sucks is that noone has found a fix or solution to this and it's been goin' on for a while.

i only upgraded the alt-batt to 1/0g so far. i need to get a GM side post adapter for my neg terminal on my batt so im gonna get one of those sometime this week. and 2morrow were suppose to get 8 inches of snow in PA so i wont b able to to it for the next 2 days. i noticed when i drove for alil after i upgraded the one wire to 1/0 the volotmeter was on the 15 line instead of around 14... i will also be upgrading the pos batt-elec wire. i really hope this works. also i am tryin to find out where exactly might the elec prob be... my theory now is that it is not the alt or batt. when i had my batt and alt hooked up to a multimeter and i got the voltometer to dance like :fluffy: (lol i miss him) so im gonna have to use lol,the change in volts were showing up on the voltometer but NOT the multimeter it was holdin steady at 14 while the voltometer was bumpin down to red and this was at IDLE. ?????? but since i kno jack sh!t about car elec systems i dont kno what this means.

Apparently my alternator wasn't grounded correctly, which was causing the charge problems for me. Make sure your **** is grounded

                          • yeah i think so other wise the voltage would be going up and down all the time, it could be anything making your lights dim like that, mine do it when i turn the air on, lol
