Former car (3.4 A4 w/ 3.23s) could spin it (right rear ) easily. Current car does scary burnouts.

On my A4 3.8 Y87 stock 235 tires I could only get a little chirp, if even that, by just flooring it. After I got the TSP tune I can spin them easily by just punching it. I'll have to try it again some time with the TC off to see if it will spin them more. When they spin the low traction light comes on, so that may be slowing them down a little.

haha hate to brag...i can roast my tires as long as i want. bless the t5. :) my tires break loose around 1000rpm on my 245/50 bfg g-forces! ill let rpms stay steady around 5000-5500 before it bounces off the rev limiter keepin foot barely on the brake till i decided its enough. right rear tire is worn to hell compared to the others! neeeeed LSD!!! serious tire smoke then.

i can fry em all day long, even with my sticky 275 yokohamas, lol..with an automatic, i can just punch it and fry em..i just have to tap the brake a tiny tiny bit to keep it from rolling forward, i have the y87 package, and a bunch of mods, but still its crazy comin from a 6 banger.

does the low traction light have anything to do with the tires stop squealing? seeems like when i punch it sometimes the car will chose to hesitate, like no gas flow (for about 1 second) then it catches again and burns off?

if you have asr...you'll have to turn it off to burnout otherwise your car is applying the brakes whenever it senses tire spin

if you have asr, you should have a button to turn it off on your dash around the radio area. from your desription, you do seem to have a traction control system cause when it senses tire splip, it will cut back the throttle and/or fuel then your brakes.

I have stock 3.08's with the crappy differential.

66k miles, keep it well maintained, run synthetic oil, etc etc "Catback, RAI, Lid, K&N Filters, and no maf screen"

I can spin them pretty easily, I get a nice 1 wheel smoke cloud after about 5-7 seconds of burning, lol

Even before mods they were pretty easy, my friend with an 00 camaro almost identical to mine which is stock other than a few free intake mods, with alot more tread than me can spin them good as well

I always thought the low traction light was an ABS thing.
