TB from 2000, PCM a4 y87 from 2000, intake assembly 2000. With these parts would it be a simple swap or would theer be moe involed. Would the PCM even work or would it conflict with something.

how would it affect the hood. I have parked next to a 2k2 and it was no different. I have the mecham hood installed. Ne ways ne explanation would help.
only real problem i can think there might be is the wiring from the gas pedal to the tb. you'll have to go from mechanical to electronic. all the wiring and such required may be more trouble than it's worth, but if you make it work, more power to ya.
What is needed beyond the wiring itself, I know I am asking allot. But is there some sort of actuator or device that sends the signal from the pedal to the TB that I would need?
What would it take for me to buy the PCM alone from the 2k? would it work?
i'd love to help ya on that one, but i don't know exactly how that all works. best thing to do is find a wiring diagram for 2000+ f-body and see how the pedal is hooked up.
what about the pcm will it work in my car i i simply plug it in. Id love to have my shift points and speedo work correctly hehe. I hate my speedo now it makes me uber nervouse around cops.
The pedal would be hooked up to a sensor that is calibrated to match the throttle body. It is attached to the upper part of the throttle linkage inside the car. I would recomend getting the harnesses from the 2000. You will need those to connect the sensor and the throttle body. Otherwise it will not work. The car would idle but it wouldn't accelerate.
