  • Headlight Problem / Question

I have a 94 and when the lights go down the driver side light grinds for a about 5 seconds as soon as its closed..sounds terrible and attracts too much attention in the parking lots :( Do you know what exactly causes this, and would the brass gears I hear all about fix this??

D_Fisher nailed this one, but to ellaborate a little. It is your gears stripping. Yes, brass gears will fix it, but if you want to do a temporary fix you could flip your current gears and hope they last a little while longer.

its possible for the brass gears to wear out but they'll prolly out live you and the car. if you don't plan on keeping the car for too long then you can get the OEM plastic gears on ebay for about $30 a set.
