2000 3.8L 5 Speed Firebird, whisper lid Magnaflow exhaust. When I place the car in 1st 2nd or 3rd and drive along at or around 2500 rpm and then very slowly accelerate from there (in same gear), I hear a very obvious whisping or pinging type sound. It only lasts right at and around 2500 rpms. Over or under that rpm the engine sound returns to completely normal. Best guess... is this normal with my intake and exhaust or is it some type of leak?
