alright guys, I was noticing an occasional stutter/misfire.

So yesterday i change fuel filter, seafoam, and did the starter. Car fires faster, almost instantly(could be starter related) And it idles a little smoother and definitely drives faster.

But know when I say I am in 3rd gear, at 2500 rpms, and I get on the gas hard, it will stutter and misire hard but once in upper rpms fire perfectly fine.

BUT I also have 4* of timing added across the board on my timing table. I have had this for months, checked it and its alwasy been fine. My question is do you think the seafoaming and the fuel filter would have changed something so I woudl have developed detonation?

I tink my issue might have been gas... off hand does water float on gas, or the other way around? I put a new take of gas in and it seems to be running stronger.

btw my EGR does leak too...

usually some fuel system treatments say that they dissolve water or "displace" water

go spill some gas on a lake, it floats, so all your water would be at the bottom getting sucked into your supply :) fun stuff
